Welcome!
The Administrative Office of the Courts (AOC) is proud to support the work of more than 1700 Georgia judges. These include superior, state, juvenile, probate, magistrate, municipal and appellate court judges. Established in 1973 by the Georgia General Assembly, the office provides technical expertise to the courts under the direction of the Judicial Council of Georgia.
Today the AOC houses the Board of Court Reporting, the Commission on Interpreters, the Committee on Access and Fairness and others. Our office provides oversight or assistance to pilot court projects, the annual superior court workload assessment, trial court councils and other court-related efforts throughout the state. I am pleased to welcome you and invite you to learn more about the agency’s role as you browse our website. You will find numerous reports and publications posted here that reflect the work of the Georgia courts. On behalf of the AOC and the courts of Georgia it is our pleasure to be of service.
